American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Course
For professional rescuers who must have a credential (card) documenting successful
completion of a CPR course. This group would include First Responders, EMT's, Paramedics,
Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physicians assistants,
Nurses, and Physicians. This course provides information on adult and pediatric CPR,
including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask. Also covers foreign-body
airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious), automated external defibrillation,
special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

American Heart Association BLS Instructor Course
The BLS instructor course is designed for the person who holds a BLS Course Card and has the desire to teach other individuals life saving skills. This course requires all participants to have a BLS Instructor book. This book costs an additional $35.00.
