You will need to provide proof of eligibility with your application to the Bureau of EMS

• Complete required professional education including HIV/AIDS
• Hold current CPR, or ACLS certification for appropriate level
• Successfully pass a department required examination
• Pay applicable fees

Provide Additional Documentation

• Documentation of judgment if ever charged with a felony
• NREMT Application (for EMT applicants)
• Florida EMT application
• Meet Application Due Dates for desired testing date
