Starting Oct. 1, texting while driving will be illegal in Florida

As of Oct. 1, it isn’t just a bad idea – it’s also illegal. The state of Florida has prohibited the practice. The only exception is if you’re stopped at a red light or using a “talk-to-text” service like Apple’s Siri.
