Three children in Florida have died this year after being left in a hot car. Often, these accidents are the result of stressed, tired or pre-occupied parents or caregivers forgetting that the child was in the back seat.
Charlene Cobb, community outreach coordinator at Sunstar Paramedics, is urging parents to use simple tips to prevent forgetting kids in hot cars. She spoke to local media outlets about the dangers of hot cars and heatstroke:
