Dana Shultz honored with Pinellas Osteopathic Medical Society’s First Responder Award

Sunstar Paramedics employee Dana Shultz was honored with Pinellas Osteopathic Medical Society’s First Responder Award. Shultz was recognized for his dedication to the advancement of the emergency medical services (EMS) profession, commitment to high-quality patient care and leadership skills.

As a field training officer (FTO), he serves as a role model for his peers and paramedics beginning their careers. Shultz goes above and beyond his normal duties to give an extra 10%, whether its making a patient feel understood or sharing his knowledge and skills with other paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMT).

Schultz is also certified in pre-hospital trauma life support and is a National Association of EMS Educators Level 1 instructor.
