Donation helps 40 local families

November 24, 2014

Sunstar Paramedics employees got in the giving spirit for the holidays. Last week, Metropolitan Ministries picked up over 850 pounds of nonperishable foods and $50 in gift cards donated by Sunstar Paramedics employees. This donation will nourish an estimated 40 local families in need.

Metropolitan Ministries is expecting to provide food and children’s gifts to 20,000 Tampa Bay families in need of assistance this holiday season. Metropolitan Ministries will need 900,000 pounds of food to meet that need.

Join Sunstar in supporting Metropolitan Ministries by donating supplies or your time during the upcoming holiday season. Sign up at MetroMin.org.
