Sunstar donates to Florida Breast Cancer Foundation

Sunstar Paramedics presented Tracy Jacim from the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation with a check on Friday, Nov. 1 to show its ongoing support in the fight against breast cancer.

The funds were raised during Sunstar Paramedics’ Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Sunstar Paramedics wrapped an ambulance in pink for the month of October and offered employees the opportunity to purchase the placement of a loved one’s name on the ambulance in remembrance or to honor a loved one who has experienced breast cancer.

In addition, Sunstar Paramedics employees had the option to purchase pink work hats. All proceeds were donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
