Sunstar Participates in Annual PPHS Disaster Day

April 18, 2023
On April 12th, Sunstar EMS participated in the annual Pinellas Park High School Disaster Day, which is focused on the high school seniors who are enrolled in the 1st Responder Program. Each year, the seniors will plan out the scenario and fill the positions of Incident Commander, Operations, Hazmat, Medical Branch, Treatment, and Transport. Local 1st Responders within the community will participate and work with the high school seniors in their assigned positions for the day, helping them facilitate a successful disaster drill. Sunstar EMS has participated in the Pinellas Park High School Disaster Day Drill for several years. We are happy to be a part of helping the Pinellas Park High School 1st Responder program and its continued success each year.
