Sunstar Prepares for Hurricane Season

June 8, 2023
On June 3rd, Sunstar EMS participated in the annual Hurricane Preparedness Expo in partnership with Largo Fire Rescue and Pinellas County Government. Several participating agencies were representing Pinellas County and a great turnout of over 700 residents. Sunstar had one of the Ambulance Buses, along with the Special Operations Supervisor vehicle and ambulance on display for the community. It was an excellent opportunity to explain the role of EMS during a disaster, as well as the capabilities of Special Operations and the Ambulance Bus. Thank you to everyone who attended this great event.
