New defibrillators in Sunstar ambulances

April 20, 2014

The entire Pinellas County emergency medical services system, including Sunstar Paramedics ambulances, transitioned to new Philips HeartStart MRx ECG monitor/defibrillators in April.

The new state-of-art monitors provide the most advanced pre-hospital technology available. This standardization of equipment allows for seamless transitions from local fire departments to Sunstar for transports to hospitals.
